The Minns Law Firm

Michael Minns has practiced law since June 1977. His law practice has focused on “the little guy”, and the citizen up against an often unforgiving government. The firm handles trial work and appeals throughout the United States. Minns is admitted to practice in 30 jurisdictions, one of the most, if not the most, of any practitioner in the United States.

The other side, on tax cases, is either the United States Attorney’s office, the largest law firm in the United States, or the Commissioner of Internal Revenue Service, one of the most powerful and feared government officials.

The Minns Firm is a small trial firm. In 30 years, trying cases and appeals all over the United States, the firm has acquired useful hands on experience.

The firm limits itself to ten active trial cases at a time in order to try and level the playing field.

The firm is located in The Minns Building in Houston, TX.

A review of Minns work can be obtained by reading his books, or published appellate cases. A few successes include, the only disbarment of IRS lawyers from their state bar in U.S. history, the largest test case multi party test case petitioner fraud refund in U.S. history, the largest malpractice counter claim against a divorce lawyer in Texas, several key tax appellate reversals including U.S. v. Buford, U.S. v. Powell, U.S. v. Doyle.

It is the sworn duty of the American Jury to stand up and protect the accused citizen, to presume innocence, and guard our sacred separation of powers. read more...
