Ashley Blair Arnett


In 2004, Ashley started at the Minns Firm as a legal assistant. As a third year law student, she participated in the December 2007 acquittal of the Morans in Seattle, Washington. Ashley graduated from St. Mary's Law School on May 17, 2008, and returned to the firm on August 4th. Ashley worked in winning a legal malpractice judgment against former State Representative Michael Martin in August of 2009. Ashley handled the unwinding after the victories in Dixon v. Commissioner and Hongsermeier v. Commissioner which led to tax refunds or credits for approximately 1300 airline pilots. In July of 2011 Ashley tried US v. Squires with Michael in Dallas Texas, handling all files and two witnesses.  Squires was found not guilty on all counts.  Ashley has participated in cases in Texas, state and federal courts, Minneapolis, Seattle, Florida, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, and Virginia, and the U.S. Tax Court.

Ashley completed her undergraduate degree with a major in Political Science in three years, graduating with honors from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
