Michael Minns
Michael Louis Minns was licensed by the Texas Supreme Court on June 13, 1977 and on the following Monday tried his first case as a licensed lawyer. Following that case, he went seven years without a professional defeat. He has over 50 admissions in jurisdictions across the continental United States.
His trial work spans the country from Alaska and Hawaii to Texas, Arkansas and New York. His cases have appeared in periodicals such as the New York Times, Houston Post, Houston Chronicle, San Antonio Light, Arkansas Democrat, Arkansas Gazette, Kerville Mountain Sun, Memphis Commercial Appeal, People Magazine, and Reader’s Digest.
Minns maintains a broad general law practice covering a large and varied spectrum, with a large emphasis of his professional experience as a tax defense lawyer and in suing bad lawyers for legal misconduct in malpractice suits. He has handled criminal law cases from misdemeanors to capital murders.
Michael Minns currently lives on a Brookshire, Texas, farm with his wife Michelle, a farmer. They have three children, four grandchildren, and a ton of animals.

Rain L. Minns
Rain Minns has a diverse litigation experience, ranging from international arbitration in Hong Kong to jury trials in the United States.
Prior to joining the practice with her father, Rain worked for over three years at Bickel & Brewer. Ms. Minns also clerked for Chief Judge George P. Kazen in the Southern District of Texas and then became an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, where she was recognized for her outstanding work. Namely, Ms. Minns first-chaired and obtained favorable trial and appellate verdicts in all of her cases, including the highest arbitration award in the history of her division.
Rain graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College and received her Juris Doctorate from Cornell University Law School in 2001.
Rain Minns currently lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, David, and two children, Aria and Solomon.

Ashley Arnett
Ashley completed her undergraduate degree with a major in political science in three years graduating with honors from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. After completion of undergrad studies in 2004, she accepted employment at the Law Office of Michael Louis Minns. As a third year law student, she handled a name change as well as participating in the December 2007 acquittal of the Morans in Seattle, Washington. Ashley graduated from St. Mary's Law School on May 17, 2008 and returned to the firm on August 4.
